지난 해 12월이후 성당 6곳과 수도원 1곳이 폭탄테러를 당했고 여러곳의 크리스찬의 가옥들이 파괴되었다.

Another killing in Mosul: Violence Against Iraqi Christians Continues
A Christian merchant was shot and killed, execution-style, outside his home in Mosul, as the campaign of “ethnic and religious cleansing” directed at Christians there continues. Hikmat Sleiman was killed by gunmen who were waiting for him when he returned home from the grocery store he operated. Since the beginning of December, six Christian churches and a convent in Mosul have been bombed, and a number of Christian homes destroyed. In addition to the people killed by the blasts, two men have now been the victims of calculated murders, and two Christians have been kidnapped. Archbishop Louis Sako of Kirkuk has warned that a campaign of “ethnic and religious cleansing” is underway in the region.
